When we started neozine* in 2003 we never had a clue of the
impact it took on the Portugal Design Scene and in some International
Media. After seven months online and some really bad collaborators
(people that pretended to be friends and turned out something else)
we decided to take an "unexpected" break and digest the
whole process.
We never forgot the interviews, the reviews, the real friends (even
though online friends) we made, that respected our work and gave
us tremendous strength.
So, we decided to take neozine* a bit further, take things more
seriously planned and get our space back, bringing the personal
and unique character of each artist to the internet.
This is a non-profit magazine, the only thing we earn is your respect
and to know amazing artists, real power sources of inspiration.

Born in Vila Nova de Famalicão - Portugal in 1976 currently
lives in Vila Nova de Famalicão
Graduated as a Graphic Designer at the Oporto Fine Arts and works
as a professional designer since 1995
She is a huge fan of Edward Gorey and enjoys drawing, illustrating
and spaghetti
Full Name - Sérgio Nuno Barros Soares de Freitas
Born in Oporto - Portugal in 1974 currently lives in Vila Nova de
Famalicão
Graduated as a Sculptor at the Oporto Fine Arts and started his
Designer career in 1999 after discovering the love for Design and
deciding that professionally didn't want to be a teacher.
Currently working on following his dream, creating his own design
studio aka Nuno Soares Design - Interactive Design.
He enjoys drawing, painting, reading Fernando Pessoa, Edgar Allan
Poe, Neil Gaiman, Richard Holdstock and stuff related to Celts.
Favourite Artists are Basque Sculptor Eduardo Chillida, Portuguese
paintor António Carneiro, movie directors Alfred Hitchcock,
Hillman Curtis and Tim Nolan, illustrator Nate Williams and Portuguese
illustrator Susana Espadilha. He is really fond of reviewing art,
illustration and design.
After the domain novazaki.com that he invented in 2003 been stolen
by some french as well as the website, he is now working on a new
doodle website just to piss the french off.
