We're quite fond of Yoko's work for a long time. Magical characters, animals, pets and people - or combined - breed a magical atmosphere where the surroundings and backgrounds are as magical as the characters themselves. I am particular fond of Solitude. The technique is quite astonishing and perfectionist as it works for the theme.
Am I fond of owls... And even more fond of Lolley's Urban Poetry of owls and birds at the amazing "Living in the City" artwork. Mystical birds, placed on landscapes and cityscapes populate the line of work where multiple expressive art languages are combined to create an appealing and almost Poe's, dreamland. Reminds me also the Russian cartoon movement/ school. -------------------------------------------------------------------------
